The Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking responsibilities inclusive of labouring, minor maintenance, minor workplace upkeep, grounds keeping, maintaining equipment and facilities and picking up and delivering items within the Mount Isa region.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • Provide effective support to the Manager Infrastructure and Logistics to ensure service provided to stakeholders is of high performance.
  • Coordinate the cleaning, security, timetabling and space personnel, and other requisition and audit stock as required.
  • Ensure specific areas of responsibility are adequately covered at all times including room booking processes, vehicle booking processes and region archiving.
  • Provide accurate and efficient services utilising various software packages including word processing, spread sheeting, and adapt and utilise a variety of corporate systems.
  • Manage own workflow efficiently, negotiating priorities for deadlines where appropriate.
  • Manage relevant staff including the development, monitoring and evaluation of performance management protocols.
  • Active involvement in budget development, financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Perform duties within organisational guidelines and procedures, continually seeking improvements in the way in which work is performed.
  • Contribute to the achievement of organisational quality policies by encouraging an environment where high quality work is achieved and is supported by the adherence/development of quality system documentation.
  • Undertake research and development on matters relating to business functions.
  • Ensure day to day activities align with business operations.
  • Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices.
